18 December 2018 - Unisa, VIII Edition of the Antonio Genovesi Prize: the competing projects have been presented

On December 18, 2018 the 13 projects competing for the eighth edition of the Antonio Genovesi Prize have been presented at the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Salerno. The initiative was promoted by the PEL in collaboration with ANCE AIES Salerno.

Gianluigi De Mare, Director of the PEL, introduced the speeches by Giovanni Veneri, Director of ANCE AIES Salerno, by Antonio Nesticò, Professor of the course of Economic Evaluation of Projects; by Rosa Maria Caprino, Director of Socomer Grandi Lavori and Responsible in PEL for the relations with local and national Italian institutions and companies; by Emilio Coppola, Responsible in PEL for the relations with Professional Associations.

Following the students of the Economic Evaluation of Projects course presented the financial feasibility studies, each introduced by Prof. Antonio Nesticò.

The 13 competing projects and the respective members of the working groups are listed:

1.     La Casa del Mare a Mondragone (The Sea House in Mondragone). Students: Laura Cantarella, Francesco Stanislao D'Auria, Debora Trasi, Arianna Bucciero, Giusy Caporale, Alessia Chianese.

2.     Tecnologie per produzioni agricole (Technologies for agricultural production). Students: Francesco Zottoli, Mario Natale, Liliana A. Gomiero, Noelia Andrea Etcheto, Alfonso Scolaris Marco Ruiz, Erick Chayle.

3.     Viaggio offline al Borgo di Pietracupa: disconnettersi per riconnettersi (Offline travel to village of Pietracupa: disconnect to reconnect). Students: Angela Maggio, Giovanni Petrone, Rosa Saggese Alessio Zambrano.

4.     Ex Fabbrica Cirio in Comune Capaccio-Paestum. Recupero e rifunzionalizzazione (Ex Factory Cirio in Capaccio-Paestum Municipality. Recovery and refunctionalization). Students: Nunzia Abagnale, Maria Luisa Faccenda, Rosanna Ponticiello, Maria Visone.

5.     Efficientamento energetico dell'illuminazione pubblica del Comune di Acerno (Energy efficiency of the public lighting of the Municipality of Acerno). Students: Anna Longobardi, Gerardina Valentina Salzano, Alice Vasaturo, Alessandra De Lucia.

6.     Centro sportivo a Sorbo Serpico-Salza Irpina, Avellino (Sport center in Sorbo Serpico-Salza Irpina, Avellino). Students: Raffaele Massimo, Armando Scarpone, Federico Vegetale, Benjamin Cecchini, Álvaro Martín Oviedo, Gabriel Alejandro Segalla, Juan Emiliano Vicario.

7.     Valutazione degli impatti del progetto «Hub ferroviario» a Pompei sul territorio Vesuviano (Evaluation of the impacts of the "Railway Hub" project in Pompei on the Vesuvian territory). Students: Carlo Ambrosino, Giuseppe Coppola, Domenico Iodice, Massimo Noschese.

8.     Rinnovo degli impianti tecnologici per le produzioni della Giaguaro S.p.A. (Renewal of technological systems for the production of Giaguaro S.p.A.). Students: Giusy Addeo, Nadia Bassano, Simona Cucciniello, Daniele Leo, Angela Raimondo.

9.     Palestra Smart e Sustainable Energy Floor - Cesinali, Avellino. (Smart Gym and Sustainable Energy Floor - Cesinali, Avellino). Students: Maria Cresta, Ettore Iannuzzi, Stefania Luisa Raimo, Angelo Vaccaro.

10.  Piscina comunale coperta - Comune di Vallata, Avellino (Indoor communal swimming pool - Municipality of Vallata, Avellino). Students: Giuseppina Buldo, Rocco Montalbetti, Andrea Pennacchio, Angela Volpe.

11.  Recupero & Riuso del Convento «San Leonardo» ad Ogliastro Cilento (Recovery & Re-use of the «San Leonardo» Convent in Ogliastro Cilento). Students: Marina Manzo, Cinzia Luordo, Giovanni Pagano, Carmine Palimento.

12.  Dispositivo MONICA per il monitoraggio della qualità dell'aria (MONICA device for air quality monitoring). Students: Maria Cicatelli, Federica Frulio, Teresa Trezza, Francesca La Pastina.

13.  Destinazioni d'uso compatibili con strutture religiose: il caso del Convento di San Francesco a Folloni a Montella, Avellino (Uses compatible with religious structures: the case of the Convent of St. Francis in Folloni in Montella, Avellino). Students: Carmelo Alberto Dello Buono, Gianpio Gaita, Vincenzo Galdi, Giuseppe Nappo.
